I was very interested at a young age in drawing and doodling.  In my adolescence I began experimenting with two media forms which I love: charcoal and pastels.  I progressed to painting in oils and found that it gave me great pleasure.  Thoughtful cheerfulness is what I aspire to achieve in my paintings.  It is my hope that my audience may share this feeling.  I am self taught and enjoy experimenting with colour.  Working with solid lines and blending detail create a whimsical and fantasy-like affect, a style which is visible in most of my work.
